Position Summary
Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and mission-driven Clinical Life Coach & Housing Stabilization Specialist to support individuals experiencing severe mental illness, substance use disorders, chronic homelessness, and justice involvement. This position plays a critical role in helping participants stabilize, maintain housing, build independence, and move toward long-term wellness and self-sufficiency. The Clinical Life Coach & Housing Stabilization Specialist will provide intensive, community-based support through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and will work directly with clients in their homes and throughout the community.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide intensive case management and life coaching services to individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, severe mental illness, substance use disorder, and justice involvement.
- Conduct regular in-home and community visits to assess participant stability, safety, and overall wellbeing.
- Support medication management and treatment adherence through coordination with healthcare and behavioral health providers.
- Utilize motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and person-centered practices to support engagement and behavior change.
- Facilitate connections to community supports and resources, including healthcare, mental health treatment, recovery supports, transportation, benefits, and peer services.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and participate in required reporting and team meetings.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Nursing, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experience working with chronically homeless populations and/or justice-impacted individuals.
- Experience supporting individuals with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and person-centered practices.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance required.

Position Summary
The Development Officer serves as a key member of Criminal Justice Ministry’s leadership team and is responsible for growing private philanthropy through donor cultivation, stewardship, major gifts, sponsorships, and special events. This role offers a unique professional growth opportunity for an emerging fundraising leader seeking to advance into a future Director of Development position as the organization’s fundraising program continues to expand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community supporters.
- Manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors through all stages of the donor cycle.
- Lead planning and execution of fundraising events, donor appreciation activities, and community engagement opportunities.
- Supervise Marketing Coordinator(s) and related development support personnel.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for CJM throughout the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional fundraising experience may be considered.

Position Summary
The Director of Clinical Services is a newly created leadership position responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing Criminal Justice Ministry’s clinical service strategy for individuals with high-acuity behavioral health needs. This position will lead efforts to identify, assess, engage, and connect clients experiencing significant mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders with appropriate treatment and supportive services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement CJM’s clinical service strategy for clients with high-acuity behavioral health needs.
- Develop policies, procedures, and best practices related to behavioral health service delivery.
- Maintain a limited caseload of clients with complex behavioral health needs.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to the Clinical Life Coach.
- Oversee clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies and grant requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or another related helping profession.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals experiencing significant mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorders.
- Strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorders, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent clinical licensure preferred.

Position Summary
The Grant Manager is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting for Criminal Justice Ministry’s portfolio of foundation, corporate, state, federal, and local government grants and contracts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and capable of managing multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports to foundation, corporate, local, state, and federal funders.
- Track grant reporting schedules and maintain a comprehensive reporting calendar.
- Collect and compile program data from multiple sources to support grant reporting requirements.
- Track program outcomes and key performance indicators across organizational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in grant administration, program reporting, compliance, data management, or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Position Summary
The Peer Support Specialist provides direct support and engagement services to individuals with high-acuity behavioral health needs who are participating in Criminal Justice Ministry’s housing and reentry programs. This role serves as a critical bridge between clients and clinical services, helping individuals remain engaged in care while promoting hope, resilience, self-determination, and recovery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with clients through peer-based engagement and encouragement.
- Utilize personal recovery and lived experience, when appropriate, to inspire hope and model successful community reintegration.
- Conduct regular home visits to assess client well-being and provide ongoing support.
- Support clients in developing daily living skills, healthy routines, and community connections.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of client contacts, home visits, service activities, and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Certified Peer Support Specialist credential required, or ability to obtain certification within a designated timeframe.
- Strong understanding of peer support principles, recovery-oriented practices, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction strategies.
- Lived experience with mental health recovery, substance use recovery, justice involvement, or housing instability preferred.
