A Letter of Hope and Transformation

Every journey has its own story, and today we’re sharing one that truly inspires. This letter comes from a remarkable individual who has walked the path of reentry and found a new beginning through the support of our community. It’s a testament to the power of hope, resilience, and the impact of having a safe place to call home.

Kirk’s Letter

“Dear Ms. Moore,

Earlier this year you sent me the enclosed letter. It stated that I was accepted into CJM’s ‘Release to Rent’ program. I was ecstatic the day I received your letter and I’m even happier after ten weeks in your program.

I feel very fortunate to have Patrick for my case manager. There’s nobody better than Pat. I can’t even describe what he means to me. That said, TaWanda and Carl have been friendly and two people I feel I can go to with any questions I might have. They both have treated me great.

Because of all of you, returning to society after 16 years in prison has been an easy adjustment.

I am very thankful for my apartment, clothes, food, and everything CJM has done for me since my release. Because of all of you, returning to society after 16 years in prison has been an easy adjustment.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Sincerely,
Kirk H.”
